We Are in an Endgame

For about 2000 years, Christians have been talking about the end of the world. This end-of-the-world talk didn’t start with the followers of Jesus. It started with Jesus Christ Himself.

But nowadays, when Christians talk about the end of the world, they are accused of fear-mongering, manipulation, and misunderstanding the words of Jesus. Atheists, apparently, and non-practicing Christians understand Jesus’ teachings far better than the priests and religious that have preserved the doctrines of Christ for millennia.

In their analysis — the erroneous analysis of these wandering, unbelieving souls — the Gospel that Jesus preached comes with neither judgment nor condemnation and consequences for not believing and obeying. It challenges no one and accepts everybody just the way he or she is, irrespective of their wrongdoings and shortcomings.

But even Jesus Himself didn’t preach such base and pointless nonsense.

The Real Gospel

Jesus teaches that many who wrongly believe they are saved will actually be damned on the last day (Matthew 25:31–46). The Word of God says “let he that thinks that he stands, let him take heed lest he falls” (1 Corinthians 10:12).

God doesn’t seek souls who are confident in their miserable state of life. He seeks souls who seek first His Kingdom and Righteousness (Matthew 6:33). In other words, God is only going to save those souls who come to Him with the intention of surrendering their current existence and obeying Him with perfect obedience.

You are nothing, and nothing about you is of any significance.
Outside God, you are filth and wickedness personified.
Sin becomes your identity.
But with God, you receive the salvation of Christ Jesus, the Saviour of the world.

This Salvation, given to only those who seek God with a sincere heart, is absolutely necessary in these times. In these end times when the evil one has arisen to spread deceit among those who are to inherit the Kingdom of God, to “deceive, if possible, even the very elect” (Matthew 24:24).

But there is a surefire way to gain eternal life: Death.

Die to your wayward desires and ambitions.
Die to your impure passions.
Die to selfish inclinations.
Die to self.
Die to sin.
Die.

For it is written:

“Anyone who will be a follower of mine must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me (Matthew 16:24). For anyone who loves his life will lose it, but anyone who loses his life for My sake, will keep it for eternity (John 12:25). [And] unless a seed grain falls on the ground and dies, it remains only a single grain. But if it dies, it yields a rich harvest” (John 12:24).

The End Times

Now, the signs of the end times are upon us (as they have always been):

You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. 7 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of birth pains.

9 “Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. 10 At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, 11 and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. 12 Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, 13 but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.

Sacred Scriptures tell us to be on our guard at all times, to watch and pray, for we do not know the day nor the hour when the Son of Man will return in glory (Matthew 25:13).

Therefore, now is the time to remember your 7 Catholic Endgame principles (as I like to call them):
